September 21st News and Notes

Scholastic Book Fair
We are eagerly anticipating the opening of the Scholastic Book Fair next week in the gym!  The Book Fair Event is Thursday evening, September 27th and there are many other shopping times available.  Please be sure to stop in for this great opportunity to build your child's home library at reasonable prices!  Also, please consider helping your student give to the All for Books Program which provides books for children who have none.  The drop off can for All for Books can be found in our classroom each morning.  For further Book Fair info, please use the link at the top labeled "Scholastic Book Fair".

The "You Can Be A Hero, Too" Challenge Results
We are happy to report that our students collected 83 clothing items to be given to needy families in our area.  Thanks again for helping to honor the heroes of September 11th, 2001 by donating to this challenge!
