Snow Days and the Blog

Pigeon Presents
Please look for the link added above entitled "Pigeon Presents". This is a cool website that we really enjoyed using this week as we studied Mo Willems at The Book Nook.

Memory Work for the Week of December 17th:
Tuesday (First and Second)
Verses One and Two from "Two Hands" (learned earlier for the Christmas Program)
'Twas long time ago on a bed made of straw
That a baby was placed by a mother
so mild.
Who knew in her heart that this baby now sleeping
That he
was God's only child.
While shepherds
were watching their sheep late at night.
They saw heaven break open with
songs all around.
As thousands of angels sang glory to God
With a
beautiful, heavenly sound.
Thursday (First and Second)
Verses Three and Four from "Two Hands" (learned earlier for the Christmas Program)
Those shepherds ran down from their
hillside in haste
Wond'ring what they would find in that place filled with
love.
They peeked in, and saw Him, 'twas just as it had been
Announced by
the angels above.
I know who that
Baby is there in that manger,
I know in my heart it is Jesus alone.
Who
brought me the gift of my sins all forgiven
So I can make heaven my
home.
NO MEMORY WORK DUE FOR FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21ST.
